Peugeot Boxer L1 H1 Camper Special Rack

SDV is pleased to have recently been able to satisfy the requirements of a customer with very specific requirements.  Their need to carry a wheelchair and other equipment that would take up too much of the living space during full use of the campervan meant the couple required extra capacity. The rack was designed to take their canopy on the side too!

The solution was to use two roof boxes, one for the chair the other for additional storage.  Due to the type of storage on the Peugeot Boxer L1 H1, roof access was also a priority.  The solution was to build a compact roof rack that could accommodate both roof boxes but also a mesh platform to allow easy loading.  A telescopic lightweight ladder that can easily be stowed will make access simple.

Our customer was extremely pleased as he had initially thought the solution might have been just two roof bars; these would not have been able to take two none identical roof boxes mounted to them and there would have been limited access.
